Bed Breakfast Skye Tigh Mo Chridh Sign Portree Bay

Tigh Mo Chridh (pronounced Tie Ma Cree), is a family run Bed & Breakfast situated 100 yards from St Columba's Isle, the position of the little known Scottish Cathedral of the Isles in the 14th and 15th century, the ruins of which are still visible today.

We are beautifully positioned on the river Snizort which is at the head of Loch Snizort Beag and therefore ideally placed for many lovely walks.

We are located only 5 miles from Portree, the island's capital, with all its varied facilities. Ideal for visiting restaurants and pubs and for boat trips from the harbour. It also has a wide range of shops, craft shops etc.

A short walk away is the Skeabost House Hotel with its renowned restaurant and bar. It also has its own golf course and fishing beats, all of which are open to non-residents.

We are perfectly located to take in the breathtaking scenery of the Isle of Skye and ideally situated to explore Northern and Central Skye with easy access to walking, horse riding (Skye Riding School is some 2 miles away), wildlife and bird-watching.
